Travel by ferry to Paros, an island in Greece’s Cyclades, and look forward to whitewashed villages and sheltered Aegean bays. Parikia, the island’s capital, lies on the west coast, while Naoussa sits beside a fishing harbour in the north, giving you two distinct settings to consider for your stay. Nearby Naxos to the east and smaller Antiparos to the southwest are natural destinations to consider for a wider Cyclades holiday. Choose your travel dates to explore ferry options and book your crossing to Paros.

Ferry Travel to Paros
Travellers reaching Paros by ferry arrive at Parikia, the island’s capital and main ferry port on its western coast, in the Cyclades, Greece. Staying in Parikia keeps your arrival straightforward, with the old town and waterfront close to the harbour. If you prefer Naoussa, on the northern coast, you will need an onward journey across the island rather than an arrival at a separate ferry port there. The same applies to the eastern and southeastern coast, including Piso Livadi and Drios: arrive in Parikia and continue overland. Choose your accommodation with that transfer in mind, particularly if you want to keep travel on arrival and departure days to a minimum.
Paros fits naturally into a wider Cyclades holiday, with Naxos to the east and the smaller island of Antiparos immediately to the southwest. Naxos adds mountainous inland villages and a larger island to explore, making it better suited to a separate stay than a tightly packed addition to your itinerary. Antiparos makes a more compact companion, but its proximity should not be confused with arriving beside the main port: Pounta, the coastal village facing Antiparos, is separate from Parikia. When choosing onward ferry journeys, balance the appeal of another island against the time spent transferring between accommodation and ports; fewer stops leave more time to explore beyond each harbour.
