For entry into Iceland, citizens of the European Union as well as Switzerland require a valid identity card or passport. For travel with a vehicle, a customs declaration is also required. Customers must complete an online E9 customs form before departure. Icelandic customs authorities send an email approximately 30 days before departure containing a personalised link to the form. This email is forwarded to us and we pass it on to the responsible customer. It is important that this email is noted. We also recommend checking the spam folder.
The links in the email are booking-specific. It is not possible to resend the email via customs authorities. Without a valid completed E9 form, delays or issues may occur upon entry with a vehicle. Manual forms (e.g. PDF) are no longer accepted. If the personal details provided at the time of booking have changed, please inform us so that the information can be updated in time.
Important: Travellers who do not meet the entry and customs requirements may be denied boarding.
